This tournament was meant to find the most unbalanced elements of the Wars of Liberty mod in a competitive setting. After a few rounds in the tournament, it appeared that certain civilizations were so overpowered that they were virtually unbeatable, and the tournament administrators decided to ban them from the tournament. Japan could no longer be played from the round of 16, and Serbia could no longer be played from the round of 8.
