  • Wall hitpoints decreased to 1500 (down from 3000).
  • Bastion improvement effect changed to give 300% wall hitpoints increase (up from 150%).
  • Wall line of sight decreased to 1.
  • Elmeti, Mamelukes and Li’l Bombards are now unavailable to train in the Fortress Age.
  • Hire Egyptian Mamelukes home-city shipment effect changed to give 4 Mamelukes (down from 5).
  • Monitors cost decreased to 600 wood and 200 coin (down from 800 wood and 200 coin); Long-range Attack ability range decreased to 70 (down from 100) and increased cooldown time to 1 minute 30 seconds (up from 1 minute).
  • Native Scout snare-effect removed.
  • Mass Cavalry improvement cost decreased to 600 coin (down from 750 coin); effect adjusted to –40% train time (down from –50%).
  • Dragoon ranged resistance decreased to 20% (down from 30%).
  • Town Center cost decreased to 500w (down from 600w).
  • Culverin multiplier against warships increased to 12.5 (up from 10).
  • Fishing Boat cost decreased to 70w (down from 100w).
  • "Schooners" shipment effect changed from "-60% Fishing Boat cost" to "-20w * * Fishing Boat cost and -40% train time" (decreases train points from 25 to 15).
  • "East Indiamen" shipment effect changed from "-30% Fishing Boat cost and a dock wagon" to "-20w Fishing Boat cost and a dock wagon".
  • Canoe range & line-of-sight decreased from 20 and 24 to 18 and 22 respectively
  • War Canoe range & line-of-sight decreased from 30 and 34 to 25 and 29 respectively.
  • "European Cannons" shipment effect changed from "+20% warship attack and +5 warship range & line-of-sight" to "+30% warship attack".
  • "Offshore Support" shipment effect changed from "+20% warship attack and +5 warship range & line-of-sight" to "+20% warship attack and +2 warship range & line-of-sight".
  • "Admiralty" shipment effect changed from increased warship build limit to "Dock warship improvements cost & train points halved".
  • Town Center Kill bounty set to 200 XP (down from 240 XP).
  • Fishing Ship Kill/Build bounties set to 7 XP (down from 10 XP).

Aztecs[edit | edit source]

  • War Chief's cover mode tactic removed.
  • TEAM Cheap Fishing Boats home-city shipment effectively removed (no effect now).

  • Manor cost increased to 140w (up from 135w); bounties recalculated accordingly.

Chinese[edit | edit source]

  • Village pre-Fortress Age fattening rate decreased to 25% (down from 50%) of the regular rate.
  • Banner Forbidden Army (2 Iron Flails & 2 Meteor Hammers) train points increased to 33 (up from 29).
  • Old Han Reforms home-city shipment attack and hitpoints effect decreased to 50% (down from 100%); cost effect decreased to 20% (down from 50%).

"Old Han Reforms" shipment cost removed (down from 1000f).

  • Bank XP bounties increased to 140 XP (Build - up from 70 XP) and to 280 XP (Kill - up from 140 XP).
  • Bank base build-limit increased to 5 (up from 4).

  • Coureur Des Bois cost increased to 125 food (up from 120 food).
  • Thoroughbreds home-city shipment no longer decreases the train time of Cuirassiers.

Germans[edit | edit source]

  • Uhlan hit points decreased to 180 (down from 190).
  • Doppelsoldner hit points increased to 240 (up from 230).
  • "Lipizzaner Cavalry" shipment increased to +25% Uhlan attack & hitpoints (up from 15%).

Indians[edit | edit source]

  • TEAM 5 Urumi home-city shipment effect changed to give 4 Urumi.
  • Sepoy hit points decreased to 180 (down from 190).
  • House cost decreased to 60w (down from 80w), hit points decreased to 800 (down from 1200); Bounties recalculated accordingly.

  • 200 food added to starting crates.
  • 200 wood removed from starting crates.
  • “Crates of 100 Food, 100 Wood, and 100 Coin" infinite shipment increased to 200f, 100w, 100c.
  • "Crates of 200 Food, 200 Wood, and 200 Coin" shipment increased to 400f, 200w, 200c.

  • Bakufu home-city shipment effect on Daimyo and Shogun training-rates decreased to 50% (down from 100%).
  • Shogun Tokugawa hitpoints-aura decreased to +10% (down from 20%).

  • TEAM Silk Road home-city shipment moved to the Discovery Age (from the Colonial Age); effect increased to 25% (up from 15%); team effect removed.
  • Abus Gun reload time increased to 3.5 seconds (up from 3 seconds).
  • Veteran Abus Gun improvement effect changed to also give +2 range.
  • Janissary hit points decreased to 210 (down from 235).
  • Janissary cost decreased to 90f-25c (down from 100f-25c); Bounties recalculated accordingly.
  • Mosque cost XP income increased to 0.7 XP/second (up from 0.4 XP/second).
  • Mosque settler improvements halved in cost:
  • Millet System improvement cost decreased to 50 wood (down from 100 wood);

  • Bow Rider hitpoints decreased to 220 (down from 250).
  • Cetan Bow hitpoints increased to 100 (up from 90) and speed increased to 4.5 (up from 4).
  • 4 Villagers home-city shipment removed.
  • 5 Villagers home-city shipment added to the Colonial Age (note: added as a separate shipment, not a changed version of the 4 Villagers one — has to be unlocked manually).
  • Teepee base hitpoints increased to 600 (up from 300).
  • Teepee gather rate aura boost added (3% per Teepee, range 24).
  • Teepee hitpoints aura maximum range increased to 18 (up from 12).
  • Teepee damage aura (enabled by the Friendly Territory home-city shipment) maximum range decreased to 18 (down from 24).
  • War Clubs’, Cetan Bows’ and Wakina Rifles’ ability to build Teepees by default added.
  • Aggressive Policy home-city shipment effect changed — increases the Teepees’ gather rate aura boost to 5%.
  • War Chief “heavy cavalry” unit-tag added.

  • 3 Lancers home-city shipment effect changed to give 4 Lancers.

  • TWC and TAD, including all Revolt Flags, now have new High Quality images to match the original flags.
  • Abus Guns have correct modifiers vs Light Cavalry or Eagle Knights in stagger and defend modes.
  • Asian versions of Elmeti, Mamelukes, and Li'l Bombards are no longer available in the Fortress Age.
  • Industrial Age Shogunate wonder experience-points bounty decreased to 600 XP (down from 1600 XP), as originally intended.
  • Units tagged as LightInfantry are affected by British Consulate hit-points boost.

  • Fixed a bug that allowed monitors to target empty TP sockets.
  • Corrected Gribeauval System HC card description.
  • King's Hill fort is no longer deletable.
  • Consulate blockhouse banner armies now spawn properly.
  • Fixed Surgeon is now visible under fog while acting as a treasure.
  • Adjusted Cherry Orchard and Mango Grove placement obstruction radius to make them replaceable on the same spot.
  • Docks now respect the restricted build radius during the treaty period.
  • Fixed rate-of-fire exploit on Monitor through charged actions.
  • Fixed reload animation of gunpowder units, mainly an issue with attack move mode. Units will no longer appear as standing idle while reloading.
  • Besteiro unique model/art now activates upon sending the church Besteiros upgrade.
  • Carabineer unique model/art now activates upon researching the Carabineers upgrade.
  • Spahis will now scale stats correctly even for non-Ottoman players, according to the Spahi owner's Age.
  • Fixed Tomahawks sometimes playing the running animation while idle.
  • Recalculated Flail Elephant kill bounty to the correct value (30 -> 25). Recalculated Mansabdar Flail Elephant build/kill bounty (60 -> 50).
  • Recalculated bounties of Missionary to the correct values (20 -> 10).
  • Flaming Arrow; added missing 0.5 damage multiplier against Arrow Knight.
  • Added missing Tracked flag to Bank Wagon, making it potentially usable by AI.
  • Fixed Lancer textures being overly shiny in certain lightsets.
  • Fixed Gurkha hotkey name (previously labeled as Urumi Swordsman).
  • Fixed shipment arrival message of Indian Distributivism misleadingly referring to the card as Agrarianism.
  • Samurai: removed nonstandard multipliers vs Villager and Elephant (previously 0.5 and 1.15, respectively).
  • Removed nonstandard Villager multipliers from all AbstractElephant units (previously 0.5 for Siege Elephant's attack and in hand attack of the rest).
  • Flamethrower "Disciplined", "Honored" and "Exalted" improvements decreased from 30%, 35% & 60% to standard values 20%, 30% & 50%, respectively.
  • Exalted Tekkousen upgrade cost increased to standard 1500w/1500c (up from 1000w/1000c), to be in line with Frigates.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented Cherokee Basket Weaving upgrade from removing the wood cost of Amalgamation.
  • Obstruction radius will now take proper effect on native settlements under fog.
  • Fixed a bug causing Comanche native village (type 3) to always spawn without obstruction objects and therefore being passable by units.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause building foundations placed near native settlements to not be actually buildable.
  • Prevent Barn from becoming invisible under fog (problem on map ESOC Bonnie Springs).
